When we got to the hospital my husband literally left the car running with all the doors open while we were checking into the hospital. Kelly (my doula) was calmly explaining to them that I was in transition and there is an urgency. Luckily my OB, Dr. Miller who we met with that morning, was in the lobby. The team at NCH responded quickly.
