Newborn Anna Rae

Join me in welcoming baby Anna Rae Berkley earthside! Her mom and dad, Amoreena and David, are ecstatic to welcome their first baby girl, along with her FOUR brothers! Josiah, Daniel, Timothy and Benaiah.

Anna was born on Friday, November 11th, 2016 and weighed in at 7 1/2 pounds, 18 1/2 inches long.

Amoreena hired me for Distance Doula Care when she moved from SWFL to New Jersey and felt she could use some trusted support as she navigated an entirely new-to-her birth system. As a mother of 4 boys, she knew firsthand that every birth is different and comes with its own joys and challenges; I was able to support her throughout her pregnancy from afar, offering emotional support, practical resources, a listening ear and advice, as well as postpartum support, resources and advice (like when breastfeeding presents challenges, yes, even the fifth time around!).

I'm thrilled to help welcome this little nugget of cuteness to her new family!

-Chris
